Job Description

Finish Carpenter Pay:
$25-30/hour (based on experience)
Location:
Site-to-site in Plymouth, MN and surrounding areas Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to support commercial apartment remodels and tenant improvement projects through site-to-site work in the Plymouth, MN area . This position focuses on high-quality interior finish and trim carpentry, including trim installation, interior doors, and cabinetry. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision, craftsmanship, and delivering a clean, professional final product. Key Responsibilities Install baseboards, casings, and decorative trim with accuracy and attention to detail Remove and replace interior doors, including hanging, alignment, and hardware installation Install cabinets, ensuring proper layout, leveling, securing, and adjustment of doors and drawers Safely and efficiently use hand and power tools such as saws, nailers, drills, and levels Read and interpret blueprints and project specifications to ensure finish work is completed correctly Inspect completed work to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to project standards Coordinate with site supervisors and other trades to maintain workflow and schedules Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times Required Skills & Experience Proven hands-on experience in finish or trim carpentry Strong ability to install trim, interior doors, cabinets, and related hardware Proficiency with standard carpentry hand and power tools Ability to read and follow blueprints and construction drawings High attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship Willingness to assist with general carpentry or construction tasks as needed Preferred Qualifications Experience working on commercial remodels or tenant improvement projects Experience in framing or general carpentry Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make precise on-site adjustments Why Work Here? Work Environment & Schedule Full-time, on-site position Monday-Friday schedule Typical hours: 7:00-8:00 a.m. start / 3:30-4:30 p.m. finish Work performed on active commercial renovation sites in Plymouth, Minneapolis, and St. Louis Park Physically active role requiring standing, bending, lifting, and working alongside other trades Standard construction attire and required safety gear on site Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of St. Louis Park, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
