Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. On the job training provided. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of residential projects, from framing and drywall installation to finish carpentry and restoration work. As a key member of our crew, you will contribute to high-quality craftsmanship, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about construction, woodworking, and building with their hands, eager to grow their skills in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, drywall installation, trim carpentry, cabinet and fixture installation, and other carpentry tasks. Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction site work, including rebar installation, roofing, siding, and flooring installation. Assist with demolition, restoration projects, and remodeling efforts to ensure quality finishes. Operate woodworking machines safely for precise cuts and assembly of wood construction materials. Install doors, windows, cabinets, fixtures, drywall, siding, and other building components while adhering to safety standards such as power tool safety protocols. Support site cleanup and organization to maintain a safe and efficient work environment; assist with caulking, plastering, tile laying, painting, and other finishing tasks as needed. Qualifications Proven construction experience with a strong background in carpentry or woodworking; residential carpentry experience preferred. Skilled in the use of hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels) and power tools for woodworking and framing. Knowledge of wood construction materials including lumber, plywood, siding materials, drywall compounds, etc. Familiarity with construction site safety practices including power tool safety procedures. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces. Experience with various construction trades such as rebar installation, roofing, drywall finishing or cabinet installation is a plus. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent teamwork skills; reliable with a positive attitude toward safety standards. Join us in building quality homes and transforming spaces!
