In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of carpentry tasks on various construction projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to building, repairing, and restoring residential and commercial structures with precision and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your skills and allow you to showcase your craftsmanship. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Use hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines to cut, shape, install, and finish wood and other building materials. Perform framing carpentry, for walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs. Install doors, windows, cabinets, fixtures, siding, trim, and other building elements with precision. Ensure power tool safety protocols are followed at all times during construction activities. Support construction site safety standards by maintaining a clean work environment and adhering to all safety guidelines related to power tools and heavy equipment. Experience Proven experience in residential carpentry or general construction with a strong background in framing and trim carpentry, on residential remodeling projects. Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical drawings for accurate project execution. Knowledge of construction site safety procedures related to power tools and heavy lifting operations. Experience working with various wood construction materials such as framing lumber, plywood, moldings, cabinetry components, and siding materials.
