Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be actively involved in a variety of carpentry and general labor tasks, contributing to residential and commercial projects. Your hands-on expertise will help ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in woodworking, framing, restoration, and finishing work while working on diverse construction sites. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute project requirements. Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and other carpentry tasks. Assist with construction estimating by measuring materials and preparing job site layouts. Perform heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to maintain a safe and organized work environment. Install rough framing, doors, cabinets, siding, flooring and other building materials with precision. Follow all safety protocols related to power tool use, scaffolding, power tool safety procedures, and general site safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to interpret construction plans and ensure accurate fabrication and assembly of structures. Contribute to the overall quality of craftsmanship through attention to detail in carpentry and finishing work. Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on residential carpentry or general contracting projects. Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for various construction tasks. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and heavy equipment operation. Knowledge of wood construction materials including framing lumber, siding materials, trim components. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on active construction sites. Pay:
$25.00 - $80.00 per hour
