Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Journeyman Carpenter specializing in repairs, remodels, and additions to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse residential projects, utilizing your expertise in carpentry, remodeling, and restoration. As a key contributor, you will bring craftsmanship, precision, and efficiency to every project, ensuring high-quality results that meet client expectations. •A company vehicle will be provided for use during working hours. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood framing, doors, windows, trim, siding, flooring and other wood construction materials. Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking tasks safely and efficiently. Install fixtures such as cabinets, doors, moldings, and hardware while ensuring proper alignment and finishing. Conduct heavy lifting tasks safely and adhere to power tool safety protocols. Occasionally assist with roofing repairs and handle siding replacements. Support plumbing or electrical work when required for remodeling projects or additions as allowed. (We only use licensed service providers when required by code.) Maintain a clean and organized work environment; ensure all safety standards are followed throughout each day. Requirements Proven carpentry experience with a background in residential carpentry projects including repairs, remodels and additions. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools for woodworking and woodworking machines. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on various job sites; physically capable of handling demanding tasks. Excellent problem-solving skills. Willingness to take direction and continue learning! Valid driver's license and no history of serious driving infractions.
