Job Description

Duties Read and interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately construct molds according to specifications. Use hand tools and power tools designed for woodworking and metalworking to cut, shape, assemble, and finish mold components. Operate woodworking machines such as saws, planers, sanders, and CNC equipment to produce precise mold parts. Perform heavy lifting of materials and completed components safely while maintaining proper posture and using appropriate equipment. Install fixtures, siding, trim, drywall, rebar, or other construction materials as needed for mold assembly or restoration projects. Conduct mold remediation tasks including cleaning, repairs, refinishing, or modifications to ensure optimal performance. Follow safety protocols related to power tool operation, material handling, and site safety standards. Assist in the interpretation of technical drawings related to metal stud framing or wood construction materials. Support remodeling projects by installing cabinetry or fixtures that align with mold specifications. Collaborate with team members on assembly tasks and ensure adherence to construction plans throughout each phase of the project. Experience Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or construction environments with a focus on mold building or restoration work. Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for precise fabrication. Hands-on knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in woodworking and metal framing. Construction site experience including drywall installation, plastering, caulking, siding application, and rebar installation. Previous work in the restoration industry or mold remediation is highly desirable. Experience with woodworking machines such as saws, planers, sanders; knowledge of metal stud framing is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during assembly or installation tasks. Knowledge of construction estimating processes is beneficial but not mandatory. Strong understanding of power tool safety practices combined with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
