Lead Carpenter Appalachian Creek Construction, LLC Valdese, NC | Serving Western North Carolina Appalachian Creek Construction, LLC is seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Carpenter to take the lead on residential construction and remodeling projects throughout Western North Carolina. We are looking for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, can work independently, and has the experience and leadership skills necessary to keep projects moving efficiently from start to finish. Responsibilities The Lead Carpenter will be responsible for: Leading and performing residential remodeling and construction work Coordinating day-to-day activities on assigned job sites Reading measurements, plans, and project specifications Framing, trim work, flooring, decking, and general carpentry Kitchen and bathroom remodeling Deck construction and repairs Installation and finish work Troubleshooting issues that arise during construction Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe job site Communicating project progress, material needs, and potential issues Helping ensure work meets Appalachian Creek Construction's standards for quality and craftsmanship Working effectively with other contractors and trades as needed Qualifications We are looking for someone with: Significant hands-on carpentry and residential construction experience Experience leading projects or crews preferred Strong knowledge of remodeling and general construction practices Ability to work independently and make sound decisions on the job site Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Dependable transportation Ability to travel to job sites throughout our Western North Carolina service area Own basic carpentry tools and equipment Good communication and problem-solving skills Professional and dependable work habits Pay Compensation will be based on experience, skill level, and the scope of contracted work.
