Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Carpenter Helper to join our team. In this role, you will assist skilled carpenters in various construction and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in carpentry and construction, with a willingness to learn and grow within the industry. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Responsibilities Assist in the construction, installation, and repair of structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Help with frame carpentry, trim carpentry, and cabinet installation tasks. Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various tasks including cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. Read blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements. Support concrete forming, plastering, siding, roofing, and flooring installation efforts as needed. Participate in restoration projects including water damage restoration and mold remediation. Aid in fixture installation, door hanging, caulking, and stucco work. Perform heavy lifting as required during construction activities. Collaborate with team members on-site to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. Experience Prior experience in construction or carpentry is preferred Familiarity with construction estimating techniques is a plus. Experience with woodworking, metal stud framing is beneficial.
