We are seeking a Fry Cook/Cashier/Food Prep Assistant during the Deerfield Fair to join our Team! You will assist in the preparation, creation, order taking and presentation of food items in our Fried Dough booth.

Responsibilities:

Prepare all served food Take customer orders Process payment transactions Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours Memorize, record, and comprehend menu items, abbreviations Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and appliances

Qualifications:

Previous experience in cooking, culinary arts, or other related fields Knowledge of kitchen equipment and cooking techniques Strong attention to detail Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Ability to work well in teams

Dates:

October 1-October 4th 2026

Hours:

Fair opens at 10am and closes at 10pm, let me know what hours and days you can work, I'm flexible! :)

Pay:

$15-$16/hr - CASH, plus crew splits tips daily.
