Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Installer/Carpenter to join our dynamic gutter and home repair team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of building and installation projects, ensuring that all work meets safety standards, blueprints, and client specifications. Your expertise will help transform design plans into reality, delivering high-quality craftsmanship on every project. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, from remodeling to new installations, utilizing your carpentry skills and technical knowledge to make a tangible impact. Responsibilities Measure dimensions precisely using tape measures and other tools to ensure proper fit and alignment of materials. Install building materials such as gerneral repairs, drywall, flooring, trim, stucco, tile masonry, gutters, and roofing components with attention to quality and safety standards. Operate power tools and hand tools efficiently for cutting, shaping, assembling, and finishing materials. Conduct construction inspections to verify adherence to plans and specifications; perform remodeling and restoration work as needed. Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure project requirements are met; provide excellent customer service throughout the process. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols; operate heavy equipment when necessary for site preparation or material handling. Skills Extensive experience with carpentry including frame carpentry, door hanging, trim work, drywall installation, flooring laying, tile installation, and concrete finishing. Proficiency in reading blueprints, construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings; ability to interpret complex instructions accurately. Familiarity with construction management principles including estimating costs and managing project timelines. Knowledge of construction inspection procedures to ensure quality control; experience with building material installation across various trades such as plumbing, electrical systems, roofing, plastering, welding, and glass installation. Skilled in using ladders safely; adept at measuring dimensions precisely with tape measures for accurate fabrication. Experience with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation for diverse construction projects. Ability to operate power tools safely; experience with fabrication processes involving heavy equipment is a plus. Strong customer service skills; capable of communicating effectively with clients and team members alike. Knowledge of safety standards related to construction site operations; committed to maintaining a secure work environment.
