Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures using a variety of hand and power tools. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of residential projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that challenge your skills and expand your experience in the construction industry. Duties Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood, metal, drywall, stucco, siding, and other building materials with precision. Operate hand tools, power tools, safely and efficiently on-site. Collaborate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion while maintaining high safety standards. Requirements Proven experience in carpentry or construction site work with a strong understanding of construction processes. Skilled in using hand tools (e.g., tape measures, levels), power tools (e.g., saws, drills), operation when necessary. Ability to perform dimensional measurements precisely and execute heavy lifting safely. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for accurate construction work. Experience with framing carpentry—both wood and metal—as well as drywall finishing and stucco application. Strong understanding of schematics related to electrical or plumbing systems when applicable. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols diligently. Physical stamina for standing long hours, climbing ladders or scaffolding, bending, lifting heavy materials regularly.
