Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Carpenter and bring skilled craftsmanship to a variety of building projects! In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and finishing structures using a wide range of materials and techniques. Your expertise will help transform blueprints into tangible, high-quality results that meet safety standards and client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from framing and drywall to metal building erection and restoration, all while honing your craft in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood, metal, drywall, stucco, siding, and other building materials with precision. Erect metal buildings and frames using appropriate tools and techniques while ensuring structural integrity. Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, finishing, and related masonry tasks to support foundation and structural work. Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and specialized machinery safely and efficiently. Conduct roofing, siding installation, trim carpentry, drywall hanging, plastering, and stucco application to achieve desired aesthetics. Collaborate with construction management teams to interpret blueprints and ensure adherence to project specifications. Assist in remodeling and restoration projects by removing old materials and installing new finishes with attention to detail. Ensure safety protocols are followed on-site during heavy lifting, framing, metal stud framing, and other physically demanding tasks. Requirements Proven experience in construction settings with a solid understanding of carpentry principles. Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpreting construction plans accurately. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools (including saws, drills), tape measures, and measuring devices like dimensional measurements. Knowledge of metal building erection, concrete forming processes, rebar installation, drywall installation & finishing, roofing & siding techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy equipment when necessary. Experience with masonry work including plastering and stucco applications is preferred. Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise craftsmanship. Construction site experience with an understanding of safety standards and protocols is required. Valid experience in framing carpentry—especially woodworking—and knowledge of schematics or technical drawings is highly valued. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining quality standards.
