Job Description

Staffworks Group is now hiring an experienced Carpenter for a full-time position in Rochester, NY . Rochester, New York Carpenter Job Responsibilities Perform framing, trim work, finish carpentry, and general construction tasks. Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other building materials. Install doors, windows, cabinets, baseboard, crown molding, and other finish materials. Complete rough framing, walls, floors, roofs, and structural components. Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely. Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, quality, and proper fit. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow OSHA standards, company safety policies, and project requirements. Work independently and as part of a construction crew. Required Qualifications Previous professional carpentry experience required. Experience with framing and finish carpentry. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and job-site procedures. Ability to read blueprints and take accurate measurements. OSHA 10 certification required. Must own and maintain a complete set of basic carpentry tools. Ability to safely operate hand tools and power tools. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to lift materials, climb ladders, and work in varying weather conditions.
