Responsibilities Erect additions, remodel and structural frameworks with precision, following detailed blueprints and schematics. Install rebar and perform concrete forming to ensure durable foundations and structures. Read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and schematics to execute construction tasks accurately. Operate power tools, hand tools, safely and efficiently on-site. Conduct framing, siding, and trim carpentry to enhance building aesthetics and integrity. Measure dimensions accurately using tape measures and other tools to meet specifications for framing and finishing work. Assist with remodeling projects by restoring or updating existing structures with attention to detail. Support site safety protocols by adhering to safety guidelines during heavy lifting, scaffolding setup, and equipment operation. Collaborate with team members to interpret construction plans and ensure project milestones are met on schedule. Skills Experience in remodels, addition building erection, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, and application. Proficiency in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawing comprehension. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and dimensional measurements. Strong knowledge of rebar installation, framing (including woodworking, drywall finishing, and plastering. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining quality standards during construction or restoration projects. Excellent understanding of construction management principles with the ability to follow detailed plans accurately. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise craftsmanship. Experience with remodeling projects involving trim carpentry and interior finishing techniques. Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction site work including scaffolding setup and equipment handling.
