Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Residential Construction Punchlist Carpenter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping complete residential projects, identifying deficiencies, and performing the necessary carpentry and finishing work to ensure each project meets high-quality standards. Duties Conduct thorough inspections of residential construction sites to identify punchlist items such as drywall imperfections, trim issues, flooring gaps, or electrical and plumbing discrepancies Perform carpentry tasks including door hanging, cabinet installation, framing, and trim carpentry to correct deficiencies and finalize finishes Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for drywall installation, caulking, stucco application, tile laying, and other building finishing tasks Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately interpret project specifications and ensure compliance during repairs Coordinate with project managers and subcontractors to prioritize punchlist items and schedule necessary repairs or adjustments Qualifications Proven experience in residential construction with a strong background in carpentry, drywall installation, painting, flooring installation, and general building finishing Knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction management principles Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, and heavy equipment operation as needed Electrical experience including fixture installation and basic electrical work is highly desirable Familiarity with plumbing systems, stucco application, masonry work, welding, tile laying, and concrete finishing is a plus Ability to perform detailed inspections using construction inspection techniques; experience with construction estimating is advantageous Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality control and safety compliance in a construction site environment Join us in delivering exceptional projects by ensuring every detail is perfect!
