Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Carpenter/Laborer, where you'll play a vital role in building, renovating, and restoring residential and commercial spaces. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, siding, drywall installation, and finishing tasks Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks safely and efficiently on construction sites Install fixtures, trim, molding, flooring, stucco, siding, and other wood or metal construction materials Assist with rebar installation, plastering, mold remediation, caulking, and drywall finishing as needed Operate woodworking machines and power tools for precise cuts and assembly of wood components Follow safety protocols related to power tool operation and construction site hazards to maintain a safe working environment Requirements Proven construction estimating skills and experience in residential carpentry or remodeling projects Ability to read blueprints and construction plans accurately; interpret technical drawings effectively Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, metal stud framing, and woodworking machines Knowledge of construction site safety standards including power tool safety practices Experience with drywall installation, stucco application, siding work, flooring installation, and fixture mounting Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions Prior experience in restoration industry work or handyman services is a plus; familiarity with mold remediation is advantageous Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently when needed This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop their carpentry expertise while contributing to impactful projects.
