This role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) responsible for delivering holistic, patient-centered care based on the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Key duties include:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and educational needs. Developing and communicating individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Implementing evidence-based interventions, providing patient education, and responding to emergency situations with skill and accountability. Evaluating patient responses and adjusting care plans to ensure optimal outcomes. Accurately documenting all aspects of patient care in electronic medical records. Demonstrating leadership by mentoring peers, participating in quality improvement initiatives, and supporting professional development.

Qualifications and skills:

Current Ohio RN licensure and BLS certification; ACLS within six months for specific units. Ability to provide culturally and age-specific care, communicate effectively, and maintain confidentiality. Education requirements include a BSN within five years of hire for new hires after January 2010; no experience required. Strong commitment to professional growth, participation in organizational activities, and maintaining competency in clinical skills.
