On-SitePosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our production team in Elyria, OH. The Carpenter will be responsible for building, assembling, and repairing trade show exhibits, displays, and related structures according to specifications, drawings, and shop plans.

The ideal candidate will have strong general carpentry, framing, and finish carpentry skills, along with the ability to safely operate hand and power tools and accurately interpret blueprints and measurements.

Key ResponsibilitiesBuild, assemble, and repair trade show exhibits, displays, and related structures.

Perform general carpentry, framing, and finish carpentry work.

Measure, cut, and assemble various materials according to specifications.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, shop plans, and measurements.

Perform detailed trim work and high-quality finishing.

Safely and effectively operate hand tools and power tools.

Inspect completed work to ensure quality, accuracy, and safety standards.

Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other production team members.

Prepare completed exhibit components for shipping and installation.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Follow all workplace safety procedures and guidelines.

QualificationsStrong experience in general carpentry and framing.

Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.

Experience with finish carpentry, including detailed trim and surface finishing.

Ability to accurately read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Ability to lift and move materials and stand for extended periods.

Prior experience in trade show exhibits, cabinet work, construction, or similar environments is preferred.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Relevant trade training or apprenticeship is a plus.
