Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, contributing to the creation, renovation, and restoration of buildings. As a key member of our crew, you will utilize your carpentry expertise and hands-on labor skills to deliver high-quality craftsmanship while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This paid position is ideal for individuals passionate about construction, woodworking, and building industry excellence. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, siding, drywall installation, trim carpentry, and fixture mounting. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for framing, rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, and re-modeling projects. Install various wood construction materials including flooring, siding, moldings, and other fixtures with precision. Assist in the use of woodworking machines and power tools while adhering to strict safety protocols for power tool safety. Support restoration projects by performing tasks such as mold remediation, drywall repairs, caulking, and metal stud framing. Contribute to construction site safety by maintaining a clean work area, following safety guidelines, and participating in site inspections. Skills Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to interpret technical drawings accurately. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in woodworking and carpentry tasks. Experience with residential carpentry including framing, trim work, siding, flooring installation, and fixture mounting. Familiarity with construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings essential for precise project execution. Ability to operate woodworking machines safely and efficiently while following all safety standards. Skilled in drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, rebar installation, caulking, and mold remediation techniques. Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of heavy lifting procedures and site safety protocols. Background in restoration industry projects or handyman work is a plus; metal stud framing experience is advantageous. Pay:
$15.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 50.0 per week
