Cain Park Carpenter

Primarily responsible for the construction and maintenance of sets for theatrical performances. Directly responsible to the Technical Director, who is responsible to the Theater Production Manager. Work all theatrical scenic load-ins and strikes. Help in the construction, installation, and any operational adjustments of all scenery and props for Cain Park theaters. Assist with the inventory, maintenance, and repair all Park power and hand tools. Evaluate working drawings as necessary for construction procedures. Attend all technical and dress rehearsals as required by the Technical Director and/or Production Manager. Work with the Scenic Designer towards the realization of the designs. Act as run crew for the production. Maintain high safety levels at all times. High school diploma or GED High school diploma or equivalent Basic carpentry skills required Previous scence shop experience preferred
