The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry tasks, including construction, restoration, and installation. This role requires a hands-on approach to building and repairing structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship while adhering to safety standards. The Carpenter will work on diverse projects, from residential renovations to commercial constructions. Duties Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood and other materials. Perform mold remediation and water damage restoration tasks as needed. Fabricate custom cabinetry and furniture according to specifications. Execute maintenance person services including minor electrical work, minor plumbing, and general repairs. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete projects. Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged components. Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Requirements Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry. Strong skills in cabinet installation and general carpentry tasks. Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project specifications. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients. Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
