What You'll Do As a Carpenter, you'll work as part of a residential remodeling crew under the direction of a Foreman, performing carpentry and renovation work that reflects the quality and professionalism of Eby Exteriors. Perform residential carpentry work including framing, trim, finish carpentry, and general remodeling Install windows, doors, interior and exterior trim, molding, and other building components Assist with kitchen, bathroom, and other interior remodeling projects Perform demolition, layout, preparation, and installation work as required by the project Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other building materials accurately Read and follow project plans, drawings, measurements, and scopes of work Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and effectively Identify potential jobsite issues and communicate them to the Foreman or Project Manager Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite throughout each project Follow company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and established jobsite procedures Handle tools, materials, and equipment carefully to minimize damage and waste Work collaboratively with Foremen, other carpenters, installers, subcontractors, and Project Managers Treat homeowners and their property with professionalism, care, and respect Participate in safety meetings, job briefings, and ongoing training What We're Looking For 2+ years of carpentry, residential construction, or remodeling experience preferred Working knowledge of framing, general carpentry, and finish carpentry Experience installing windows, doors, trim, cabinetry, or other residential building components preferred Ability to accurately measure, cut, and install materials Ability to read basic blueprints, drawings, measurements, and project documentation Comfortable using common carpentry hand and power tools Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to follow direction and work effectively as part of a crew Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn Ability to perform physical construction work, including lifting, climbing, bending, and working in varying indoor and outdoor conditions Valid driver's license preferred OSHA 10 certification preferred, or willingness to obtain Why Eby Exteriors?
