Job Description
We are seeking reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented Woodworking Production individual to join our manufacturing team. In this entry-level role, you will learn to operate woodworking machinery, assist with product assembly, and support different areas of our facility. No advanced experience is required—we will train you! These positions are part-time with flexible hours , making them ideal for individuals looking to work a few hours a day, 4-5 days a week .
Key Responsibilities:
Learn Machine Operation:
Cross-train to use standard woodworking and production equipment, including framing, chopping, and assembly tools. Assist withSetups:
Help team leaders prepare machinery and learn how to perform basic equipment adjustments.Check Quality:
Learn to read basic product specification sheets and inspect parts to make sure every cabinet door looks great.Keep Safety First:
Maintain a clean, organized workspace. Follow all safety rules and immediately report any issues or damaged materials to your supervisor.Pay:
1st shift starting pay: $16.50 per hour (negotiable based on experience)Hours:
Flexible hours at least 20 to 34 hours per week between 5am to 3pm (Monday through Friday) Bi-weekly pay periodsPerformance Incentives:
Ability to earn up to $0.75/hour increase at 90 days based on performance Ability to earn up to $1.00/hour increase at 6 months based on performanceQualifications:
Experience:
No prior manufacturing experience required; basic familiarity with tools or woodworking is a plus.Skills:
Ability to follow instructions closely and follow manufacturing schedules.Attributes:
Reliable, eager to learn, safety-conscious, and a great team player. Ability to read a tape measure accurately. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly throughout the shift. Basic computer skills to scan items and process production paperwork. Ability to work in an environment where there is exposure to dirt, dust, noise, fumes and odor and is frequently exposed to heat, cold and dryness. Occasionally exposed to hazardous materials. Must be willing to undergo and pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
