Full-time | In person About Us Keystone State Restoration is a fast-growing disaster restoration company specializing in water, fire, mold, and storm damage recovery. We help homeowners and businesses rebuild after unexpected property damage with quality workmanship, professionalism, and care. We're looking for a skilled and dependable Carpenter to join our restoration team and help return damaged properties to pre-loss condition. Position Summary The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of hands-on carpentry experience and is comfortable performing both rough and finish carpentry. Restoration experience is preferred but not required. This role involves residential and light commercial repair and reconstruction projects, including framing, drywall, trim, doors, cabinetry, and flooring. Key Responsibilities Perform rough and finish carpentry, including framing, drywall, trim, doors, cabinetry, and flooring Complete repairs and reconstruction following water, fire, mold, and storm damage Work from scopes of work, insurance estimates, and project plans Complete projects efficiently while maintaining quality standards Collaborate with project managers, estimators, mitigation technicians, and other trades Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites Communicate professionally with homeowners, customers, and team members Document completed work with photos and job notes Travel throughout the service area, including Altoona and State College, as needed Qualifications Minimum 3 years of hands-on carpentry experience Experience with both rough and finish carpentry Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship Ability to read and follow scopes of work, plans, and project instructions Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently Professional communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must pass background check and drug screening Willingness to travel within the service area Preferred Experience — Not Required Previous restoration or reconstruction experience Experience with water, fire, mold, or storm damage Familiarity with insurance restoration work Experience working from insurance estimates and scopes of work Residential or light commercial construction experience Compensation & Benefits $25.00-$30.00/hr based on experience Overtime and on-call pay, as applicable Healthcare reimbursement may be available if needed Company vehicle can be provided for required service-area travel Paid time off On-the-job training Career growth opportunities Supportive team environment Why Join Us?
