Job Description
About us Core Structures is a growing small business and we are looking to expand our team! We are a local company based out of New Tripoli, PA with most projects located within 20 miles of our shop. We specialize in custom buildings, garages, house additions, new houses from the ground up, renovations, horse barns, and various commercial projects amongst many other things. We work all year round, both outdoors and indoors. We are professional, inclusive, and challenging with a goal to provide a high quality product for our customers that we can stand behind at a fair price. Core Structures is an EOE Our work environment includes: Safe work environment On-the-job training Casual work attire Tools and equipment needed for each project Potential for advancement Responsibilities Construct new buildings using conventional stick framing, or post framing methods Renovate existing buildings Install metal roofing & siding, shingle roofing, vinyl siding, cabinets & trim, finish flooring Repair existing structures Read and interpret blueprints to determine project specifications and requirements. Utilize hand and power tools to perform carpentry tasks efficiently Collaborate with other trades on-site to ensure project completion and quality standards. Maintain a safe, organized and efficient work environment while adhering to safety regulations Qualifications Ability to consitantly make it to work Puctuality Ability to learn new skills and retain what is taught Proficient in using hand and power tools for carpentry tasks Strong knowledge of construction techniques and practices Ability to read blueprints and execute projects accordingly Familiarity with various construction sites and safety protocols Skills in woodworking, concrete forming, and water damage restoration
