The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry with a focus on finishing work, ensuring that all projects meet high-quality standards. This role requires proficiency in various carpentry techniques and the ability to read and interpret schematics. The Finish Carpenter will work closely with other tradespeople on construction sites to deliver exceptional results. Responsibilities Execute finish carpentry tasks including installation of trim, moldings, and cabinetry. Perform metal stud framing as needed for various projects. Conduct fixture installations with precision and attention to detail. Apply caulking, stucco, and plaster as required for finishing touches. Collaborate with electricians to ensure proper installation of electrical fixtures and components. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in accordance with best practices. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate execution of designs. Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines. Qualifications Proven experience in finish carpentry or related field. Strong knowledge of metal stud framing techniques. Familiarity with electrical installations is preferred. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to carpentry work. Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately. Experience with caulking, stucco, plastering, and frame carpentry is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. Ability to work effectively on construction sites while adhering to safety protocols. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
