Carpenter/Maintenance Worker Job Description This role involves traveling to various properties in the Rhode Island area to perform general maintenance tasks and ensure buildings are in top condition. Responsibilities Drive to different properties in the Providence Rhode Island area. Perform general maintenance and repair work on buildings. Conduct janitorial duties and maintain cleanliness. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues as they arise. Engage in carpentry tasks and patch roofs. Cut concrete when necessary and dispose of garbage. Install new flooring as needed. Essential Skills Proficiency in repair and maintenance work. Experience with janitorial duties. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems. Skills in carpentry and cleaning. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with patching roofs. Knowledge of sheetrock installation. Ability to cut concrete. Why Work Here? Work Environment The position is set in a construction and maintenance environment, with a typical workweek from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. The role entails working with a range of tools and equipment necessary for building maintenance and repair tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of East Providence, RI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
