Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter / Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from trim carpentry to restoration and remodeling. This paid position provides valuable hands-on experience across multiple facets of construction and restoration industries. Duties Perform trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture installation with precision Install glass window inserts Demolition work Some interior framing Work using hand tools and power tools Some basic electrical Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate project execution Support restoration projects including water damage remediation, mold removal, plastering, stucco application, and water damage restoration Carry out heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites Skills Experience preferred, basic construction site knowledge required. We are willing to train the right person with a great attitude and willingness to learn. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment Experience in construction estimating and blueprint reading for accurate project planning Knowledge of various carpentry disciplines including framing, trim carpentry, cabinetry, and drywall finishing Familiarity with roofing techniques, siding installation, flooring laying, tile work, and electrical or plumbing basics Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in diverse environments Experience with schematics for fixture installation or metal stud framing projects Background in restoration industry tasks such as mold remediation or water damage restoration is a plus Join our team to build quality structures while developing your skills across multiple construction disciplines!
