Job Description

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry tasks, including building and repairing structures, installing finishes, and assisting with heavy lifting and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with power tools, heavy lifting, and a strong understanding of carpentry techniques. In addition to the physical demands of the job, this role requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
  • Perform carpentry tasks such as building, repairing, and installing structures and finishes.
  • Conduct heavy lifting and construction projects as needed.
  • Use power tools and equipment to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Assemble and install metal stud framing, trim carpentry, and other carpentry materials.
  • Assist with mold remediation and water damage restoration projects as needed.
  • Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work site.
Skills:
  • Experience with power tools and equipment.
  • Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and materials.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform heavy lifting tasks.
  • Knowledge of metal stud framing and trim carpentry.
  • Familiarity with mold remediation and water damage restoration processes.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
  • Experience with caulking and other finishing techniques.
  • Ability to build and repair structures and finishes.
  • Experience with roof construction and installation.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$16.00
