Full-Time Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and dependable Carpenter/Turn person to join our apartment maintenance team. The Carpenter/Turn is responsible for performing a variety of carpentry repairs and renovations throughout our apartment communities as well as assisting with turning vacant units for move-ins. This position requires attention to detail, quality workmanship, and the ability to work independently while providing excellent customer service to residents. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform interior and exterior carpentry repairs and painting. Install, repair, and replace doors, windows, trim, cabinets, countertops, shelving, and framing. Repair drywall, including patching, taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing. Complete apartment renovations and prepare units for new residents. Install flooring, baseboards, and other finish carpentry items. Repair fences, decks, handrails, stairs, and other exterior structures. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders. General apartment maintenance duties-electrical, plumbing, etc. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently. Respond to maintenance requests as assigned. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company policies. Assist with other maintenance projects as needed. Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of carpentry experience (residential or commercial preferred). Experience in apartment maintenance is a plus. Strong knowledge of framing, finish carpentry, drywall, and basic construction. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record. Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
