As a key leader on our team, you will coordinate skilled carpentry work, ensure safety standards are met, and deliver exceptional craftsmanship that exceeds client expectations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead projects from start to finish, mentor team members, and contribute to the successful completion of diverse construction initiatives. Your expertise in framing, trim, siding, restoration, and related trades will drive project success and customer satisfaction. Duties Lead and supervise carpentry crews on residential and ommerical projects, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to specifications Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide project execution accurately Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks including framing, trim installation, siding, door hanging, flooring, tile laying, and fixture installation Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and heavy equipment safely and effectively Manage material procurement and ensure proper handling of wood construction materials such as rebar for reinforcement or metal studs for framing Conduct quality inspections throughout projects to maintain high standards of craftsmanship and adherence to safety protocols Collaborate with project managers to develop accurate construction estimates and timelines while maintaining clear communication with clients and team members Requirements Will be expected to drive company van throughout the work day Proven experience in construction with a strong background in residential carpentry, remodeling, restoration industry experience, or related fields Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings for various construction tasks Proficiency with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, masonry equipment, woodworking machines, and other construction machinery Knowledge of construction estimating processes and material specifications including woodworking materials and siding options Familiarity with power tool safety standards and best practices for heavy lifting and fabrication tasks Ability to perform tasks such as plastering, caulking, mold remediation, water damage restoration, rebar installation, metal stud framing, tile laying, flooring installation, masonry work, drywall finishing (including stucco), fixture installation and siding repair or replacement Strong understanding of safety protocols related to power tools and construction site procedures Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical plans accurately Physical capability for heavy lifting and working at heights or confined spaces as needed Valid experience in the restoration industry or related fields is highly desirable Join our team as a Working Lead Carpenter where your skills will shape beautiful spaces while advancing your career in a fast-paced environment.
