Our company will provide you with everything you need to be successful if you can show up, work hard, solve problems and have a good attitude. 2) Have extensive construction knowledge in finish carpentry as well as general maintenance. This means at least 5 years full time in a carpentry/handyman role. Duties Perform make-ready/general maintenance and repairs in residential and commercial properties. Mainly on rental properties needing basic repairs such as drywall patching, hardware swaps, light fixtures, paint, etc. Have proficiency in drywall, trim work, door hanging, floor installation (Tile, VP, etc.), siding, paint, basic framing, cabinets, fixtures, etc. Install fixtures, including lighting, cabinets, and hardware. Work on your own mainly, maintain company tools, pick up materials, track mileage and receipts. Ability to manage small crews as needed on larger jobs Be a clear communicator, be solution centric, be eager to earn extra through profit sharing on certain jobs. You will also be supported fully to where you just have to show up and perform the work. All administration, customer service, invoicing, bidding, etc. will be handled by other team members. This role will start as a w9 contracted position for a 90 trial period. After that, you will have the option to be a full-time w2 employee with benefits which include: Health insurance, dental insurance and PTO. There may also be an opportunity to use a company truck.
Must Have's:
Must know construction best practices, not just have some experience working with your dad when you were a kid. Must be able to pass a background check Must be clean cut (No face tattoos, no leaving cans and butts on the jobsite, no looking like a hobo) Must have own hand tools at least Must have valid DL Must have own vehicle, preferably a truck Must not be an excuse maker, lazy, disorganized, flaky.
