Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of carpentry tasks with precision and craftsmanship, ensuring that all projects meet high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on residential and commercial projects, utilizing your expertise in woodworking, framing, and finishing to bring construction plans to life. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering exceptional results on every job. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Measure, cut, assemble, and install various wood and metal components using hand tools and power tools for woodworking. Perform framing, metal cable tray basket, and trim carpentry with precision. Assist in remodeling projects by fabricating and installing custom fixtures or structural elements on-site. Ensure all work complies with construction plans and safety regulations related to power tool safety and heavy lifting. Qualifications Proven experience in construction estimating, blueprint reading, framing carpentry, drywall installation, and general meatal woodworking. Must know plum and level terminology. Strong knowledge of wood construction materials including siding, flooring materials, metal studs, and trim components. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and construction plans accurately. Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels as well as power tools for woodworking like drills and sanders. Experience working on residential projects involving cabinet installation, door hanging, fixture setup, and remodeling. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety protocols related to power tools for woodworking and construction site safety. Ability to perform tasks such as rebar installation, water damage restoration or mold remediation is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality craftsmanship in fast-paced environments. Pay:
$27.85 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 60.0 per week People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
