Job Description

About this role Looking for experienced concrete carpenters to build and assemble formwork on commercial, government, and high-/mid-rise projects in the Dallas area. This is a hands-on role-you'll work outdoors on active job sites setting forms, bracing, and preparing for concrete pours. This is a per diem position with relocation assistance available for qualified workers willing to travel. We need dependable crew members who read drawings, measure and cut accurately, and work cleanly and safely as part of a team. What you'll do Build, set, level and brace concrete forms and formwork systems for slabs, walls, columns and footings Interpret construction drawings, specifications and as-built documents to lay out formwork and set elevations Measure, mark and cut materials and install form ties, walers, studs, and bracing to ensure dimensional accuracy Prepare jobsite for concrete placement, coordinate with pour crews, and strip forms after set Collaborate with foremen, laborers and concrete crews to maintain schedule and quality on government, mid-rise and high-rise projects What we're looking for Proven experience in concrete formwork carpentry on commercial or civil projects Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and perform site layout Skilled in measuring, cutting, framing and general carpentry techniques Experience with concrete placement processes and coordination with pour crews Able to work at heights (mid/high-rise) and follow site safety practices Qualifications OSHA 10 (preferred) or site-specific safety training Valid driver's license and ability to travel to Dallas job sites Able to pass drug screen and background check English required; Spanish or other language skills a plus What we offer Per diem while on assignment Relocation assistance or travel support for qualified candidates Project assignments on government, commercial and high-rise work for steady hours Overtime opportunities during pours and schedule drives Tool allowance or equipment stipend on some projects Ready to apply?
