In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of concrete and carpentry tasks on commercial, residential, and restoration projects. Your expertise will ensure precise concrete installation, formwork, finishing, and related carpentry work, contributing to the successful completion of high-quality structures. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute concrete and carpentry tasks. Install rebar and metal stud framing to reinforce concrete structures in accordance with project specifications. Set up and operate power tools and heavy equipment safely for formwork, concrete pumping, and finishing tasks. Perform concrete forming, pouring, finishing, and sealing to achieve smooth surfaces that meet quality standards. Execute rebar installation, metal stud framing, masonry work, and stucco applications with precision. Conduct renovation and restoration projects involving framing, drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry, and roofing. Utilize hand tools such as hammers, saws, trowels, and levels efficiently while maintaining safety protocols at all times. Assist with construction estimating by providing accurate measurements and material requirements. Operate heavy machinery including forklifts or cranes when necessary for material handling or site preparation. Maintain a clean and organized worksite by managing debris removal and ensuring safety compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Experience Proven experience as a Concrete Carpenter Journeyman or similar role within commercial or residential construction environments. Extensive knowledge of concrete finishing techniques including floating, troweling, caulking, and surface sealing. Strong understanding of construction estimating processes coupled with the ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Hands-on experience with rebar installation, formwork setup, masonry work, stucco application, roofing systems, flooring installation, tile laying, welding, and metal stud framing is highly desirable. Skilled in operating power tools such as mixers, saws (circular saws), drills, grinders along with heavy equipment operation when needed. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during complex tasks like renovation or restoration projects. Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience preferred for site mobility purposes. Knowledge of safety standards related to construction sites including OSHA regulations or equivalent safety certifications is essential.
