Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Concrete Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will execute a variety of concrete and carpentry tasks on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life through precise concrete work, formwork, and finishing techniques. Responsibilities Interpret construction plans and blueprints to accurately execute concrete forms, rebar installation, and other structural elements. Construct formwork using wood, metal, or plastic materials to shape concrete according to specifications. Operate power and hand tools safely to cut, shape, and assemble formwork and other structures. Pour, spread, level, and finish concrete surfaces with precision using trowels, floats, and finishing machines. Install rebar reinforcement securely within forms to ensure structural integrity of concrete elements. Operate concrete mixers and pumping equipment to support efficient pouring. Adhere strictly to construction workplace safety regulations and protocols throughout project execution. Perform heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment as needed for site preparation and material handling. Conduct concrete cutting, plastering, caulking, stucco application, and metal stud framing as part of comprehensive construction tasks. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to interpret technical drawings and ensure compliance with construction plans. Experience Proven experience working on construction projects as a concrete carpenter or related role in the construction industry. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems relevant to concrete work, including mixers, pumps, saws, and power tools. Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpretation of technical drawings for precise execution of tasks. Experience constructing formwork for various types of structures, including floors, walls, stairs, and foundations. Understanding of construction estimating principles related to material quantities and project timelines. Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations is essential for maintaining a safe working environment. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy machinery such as forklifts or cranes when required. Skilled in finishing techniques such as troweling, floating, caulking, stucco application, and flooring installation.
