In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures using a variety of hand and power tools. Your expertise will contribute to the successful completion of diverse projects, including metal building erection, concrete forming, framing, drywall installation, and remodeling tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects that require precision, craftsmanship, and a proactive approach to safety and quality. Whether working independently or as part of a team, you'll play a vital role in transforming blueprints and technical drawings into durable, functional structures. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of projects. Construct frameworks for buildings using dimensional measurements, framing techniques, and hand tools. Install metal studs, siding, drywall, stucco, and trim carpentry components with precision. Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, and masonry work to support various structural elements. Erect metal buildings and handle heavy lifting tasks safely while operating heavy equipment when necessary. Apply welding techniques for structural steel components and ensure adherence to safety standards. Manage remodeling projects by removing old materials and installing new fixtures or structures efficiently. Requirements Proven experience in construction with a strong background in carpentry and related trades such as masonry, drywall, or stucco. Proficiency in reading construction plans and interpreting technical drawings accurately. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other essential construction equipment. Knowledge of metal building erection, concrete forming, rebar installation, framing (including metal stud framing), and drywall installation. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces as required. Basic math skills for dimensional measurements and construction calculations. Valid experience with construction site safety protocols and the operation of heavy equipment when necessary.
