Assistant Carpenter

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and reliable Carpenter Helper to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist skilled carpenters in various construction projects, contributing to the successful completion of tasks while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the carpentry field. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Responsibilities Assist in the assembly and installation of stairs and other woodwork. Support carpenters with heavy lifting and moving materials as needed. Participate in construction tasks that enhance project aesthetics. Utilize hand tools effectively for various carpentry tasks. Help with final installs and finishing processes. Provide services as required for repairs and maintenance. Fabricate components as directed by lead carpenters. Skills Proficiency in using hand tools commonly used in carpentry. Experience or willingness to learn about stair installation techniques. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Knowledge of construction methods is a plus. Basic skills for general repairs and maintenance tasks. Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
