Full-time, 40 hours/week with overtime Job Summary Are You More Than Just a Carpenter? We're looking for an experienced Carpenter III who takes pride in craftsmanship, understands how quality millwork comes together, and can lead a team while still being hands-on in the shop.
This is an opportunity for a highly skilled carpenter who knows how to read drawings, work with custom cabinetry, laminates, veneers, and architectural millwork , solve problems on the fly, and help a team deliver exceptional work on schedule.
If you're the carpenter everyone goes to when a project gets complicated, we want to talk to you. What You'll Do Lead and oversee a team of skilled carpenters and shop personnel. Manage daily production priorities and keep projects moving toward completion. Perform and oversee advanced carpentry and custom millwork fabrication. Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, specifications, and project details. Work with laminates, veneers, cabinetry, architectural millwork, and other custom materials. Identify potential production problems and develop practical solutions. Ensure materials, drawings, tools, and Work Orders are ready for each production phase. Monitor project progress and communicate with the Foreman regarding priorities, challenges, and deadlines. Inspect work throughout the production process to ensure precision, fit, finish, and quality. Train and mentor other carpenters on proper fabrication techniques and quality standards. Minimize rework by catching problems before they move to the next stage of production. Use the Innergy system to communicate production updates, manage Work Orders, and document project status. Ensure accurate labor tracking and time reporting by Work Order. Maintain a safe, organized, and productive shop environment. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who brings experience, craftsmanship, leadership, and problem-solving ability to the shop.
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in millwork, cabinetry, custom woodworking, or commercial carpentry. Strong hands-on experience with custom millwork and cabinetry. Experience working with laminates and veneers. Ability to read and interpret detailed shop drawings and blueprints. Strong understanding of fabrication, assembly, and finishing processes. Previous experience leading a team, serving as a Lead Carpenter, Foreman, or similar role. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to troubleshoot complex production challenges independently. Strong organizational and communication skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment. Experience with production management or ERP systems preferred. Innergy experience is a plus. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
