Job Description

Concrete Carpenter Step up your career in heavy construction. We are looking for a high-performing Carpenter to drive quality and safety on high-rise projects. You won't just be swinging a hammer; you'll be a key partner to our Superintendents, interpreting digital blueprints and ensuring the site runs like a well-oiled machine. This is the perfect role for a skilled tradesperson ready to transition into a leadership path.
Key Responsibilities Project Support:
Assist Superintendents in coordinating on-site tasks, resource allocation, and maintaining the project schedule.
Carpentry & Site Prep:
Install wood roofing curbs, build temporary office structures, and manage safety railings.
Digital Blueprinting:
Read and interpret schematics and blueprints fluently via iPad or computer.
Safety & Compliance:
Act as a site safety champion, enforcing OSHA regulations and managing site traffic and snow removal.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular inspections to ensure all work meets exact project specifications.
Reporting:
Maintain precise records of material usage, labor hours, and daily milestones.
Required Skills Trade Expertise:
Strong background in carpentry and heavy construction, specifically high-rise environments.
Technical Savvy:
Proficient in reading digital blueprints and construction software.
Leadership:
Proven ability to collaborate with and guide a diverse team of workers.
Safety First:
Deep knowledge of OSHA standards and a proactive approach to hazard mitigation.
Communication:
Strong English verbal and written skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour
