Job Description
Job Summary AHIP is looking for a dependable and experienced remodeling carpenter to work full time for our company. This is NOT a helper position; candidates should have construction experience for residential remodeling and renovation jobs in all areas of interior and exterior remodeling work. Candidates will work individually and as part of a crew and be responsible for the efficient implementation of construction tasks assigned by the Construction Manager. General knowledge of all phases of renovation and remodeling , including roofing repair, is required. Light plumbing and electrical experience are a plus. Candidates must possess a valid Virginia driver's license. This position is 40 hours per week, no weekends required, competitive pay, health and dental insurance, 15 paid holidays off per year, including your birthday. - Framing, drywall hanging, and finishing
- Flooring
- Kitchen and bathroom remodeling
- Installing doors, trim, windows, and baseboard
- Deck and accessibility ramp construction and repair
- Light plumbing (toilet, sink, and faucet installation)
- Light electrical (replacing fixtures, switches, outlets)
