Proper Painters is a fast-growing painting company serving the Greater Richmond area. In the past two years, we have almost tripled in revenue. We're looking to partner with professional and reliable painting crews for premium interior/exterior residential work.

Requirements:

Registered business General Liability insurance Ability to provide ALL tools & equipment Professional communication (crew leads must be fluent in English to provide excellent, frequent customer service) Ability to produce high-quality workmanship with clean jobsites Easy to work with, coachable, & have a growth mentality

Skills Needed:

Interior prep/painting, basic drywall replacements/repairs, exterior prep/painting, basic board replacements/carpentry, stain work, & cabinet painting (must have a shop for cabinets). These are the project types we take on, and we're seeking subcontractors who can handle all or most of our work and make our clients happy with minimal oversight. FYI, we pay at a flat rate per project. For good crews, the realistic LABOR pay we target averages @ $40-45/hour. We are looking for 3-5 A-tier subcontractors to assist with our projects for the remainder of Fall 2026 - onward.
