Job Description

About Us:
At Karn Custom Woodwork, we specialize in crafting high-end, custom cabinetry and millwork for both residential and commercial spaces. Our team is passionate about precision, craftsmanship, and creating timeless woodwork that exceeds client expectations. We're growing and looking to add a skilled Carpenter to our crew who shares that same dedication to quality and detail.
Responsibilities:
Interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to build custom cabinetry and millwork Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and install wood components with accuracy and efficiency Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools safely and effectively Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and high-quality project completion Inspect products to meet or exceed quality standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a carpenter or in a woodshop environment Strong understanding of woodworking techniques, tools, and machinery Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical documents Attention to detail and commitment to quality Physical stamina and the ability to lift materials as needed Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic Preferred (but not required): Experience with custom cabinetry or millwork Familiarity with CNC machines or CAD software Basic finishing or installation experience
