Job Summary Black Mountain Builders is seeking an Experienced Carpenter with 3 or more years of experience to join our team. Our company provides high-quality residential builds within a 45-minute driving distance from Brattleboro. We are committed to integrity, high-quality/performance, craftsmanship, and efficiency. We're offering a year-round full-time position to someone who is motivated, thrives working in a collaborative team environment, is passionate about expanding their skills and knowledge, and is able to mentor Apprentice Carpenters. Responsibilities Is motivated and likes working in various phases of a building project. Is a clear communicator and has good organization skills. Can perform various tasks with minimal to no supervision. Has reliable transportation. Some of the responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: Assist with the layout and preparation of projects. Install wooden structures including decks, stairs, rafters, joists, structural walls, partition walls, etc. Install cabinets, shelving, built-in's, drywall, and insulation. Familiarity with lumber species, grades and dimensions. Checking accuracy of work. Ensure that work areas are kept clean and organized. Knowledge of basic joinery techniques. Thorough understanding of safety procedures, and proper set up staging and ladders. Ability to sequence tasks throughout the day to maximize efficiency and quality of work. Open, close, and maintain job sites to company standards. Understanding of advanced building science systems and techniques is a plus but not required. Pay:

$28.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
