About Us At Oak Hill Construction, Inc., we're a locally owned residential construction company based in Vermont, proudly serving Addison and Chittenden counties. We specialize in high-quality homes, renovations, and additions; handling everything from framing to finish. The Role We're looking for an experienced, dependable carpenter who knows their way around a job site and takes pride in their work. This is a full-time, year-round position for someone who can work both independently and as part of a team: whether that's framing a new build, installing trim, or problem-solving on a renovation. If you're someone who shows up ready to work, stays on task, and cares about the finished product, you'll fit in well here. What You'll Be Doing Framing, siding, decking, and general structural work Interior & exterior finish work including trim, cabinetry installs, and punch lists Assisting with renovations, additions, and new construction projects Reading and working from plans when needed Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized job site Communicating with team members and supervisors to keep projects moving What We're Looking For Minimum 5 years of residential construction experience Strong working knowledge of both rough and finish carpentry Ability to work independently and stay productive without constant direction Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Solid communication skills and a team-first attitude Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented Schedule Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Consistent, year-round work (no seasonal layoffs) Pay & Benefits Competitive hourly wage based on experience Paid Time Off Paid Holidays Annual tool allowance Holiday bonus
