Bridge Carpenter

Carpenter Cascade Bridge, LLC is currently seeking experienced carpenters for a bridge construction project in Kelso, WA. Cascade Bridge, LLC is a heavy-highway general contractor specializing in bridge construction primarily in Washington and Oregon. The projects in the Portland metro area have current wages for Bridge/Highway Carpenter of $50.21 per hour plus $18.87 in fringe benefits (health insurance and retirement). Carpenter Job Duties Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and plywood to be used for concrete forms Assemble prefabricated metal concrete forms and forming hardware Read, interpret, and build off of basic sketches, diagrams, specifications, and construction drawings Remove and repair reusable concrete forms and form materials Carpenter Job Qualifications and Requirements Working knowledge of power tools and other related equipment Preferred 1-year experience in bridge carpentry/construction, however candidates possessing experience in any of the following related works will be considered; residential/commercial framing, residential/commercial concrete forming/placing, heavy-civil concrete construction: dams, spillways, wastewater facilities, fish hatcheries, pump stations, marine-based concrete work, etc. General Employment Requirements Pass a pre-employment drug test Have reliable transportation Ability to work Monday through Friday Ability to work overtime as necessary such as extended work days and weekends Ability to work outdoors in variety of weather conditions Ability to lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds Cascade Bridge, LLC, is an EEO/AA employer.
