Job Summary :
We are seeking a skilled Lead Framer to join our team. As a Lead, you will be responsible for managing and executing various construction projects. Your expertise in carpentry and construction management will contribute to the successful completion of our projects.Duties :
- Manage and oversee day to day construction activities and projects
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Build, install, and repair structures made of wood, plywood, and composite materials-Expert framing abilities required.
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials according to project requirements
- Build decks and stairs and install deck railings, build patio covers, outdoor spaces etc.
- Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA regulations on job sites
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets industry standards
- Manage and train crew members
Experience :
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Carpenter
- Minimum of 3 years of experience building multi level decks and stairs and installing deck railing
- Strong ability to interpret and follow blueprints, sketches and building plans to construct and repair decks and outdoor structures
- Install decking, railings, stairs and other components according to design specifications
- Collaborate with clients, project managers and other construction professionals to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Excellent carpentry skills with the ability to work with various tools and equipment
- Familiarity with quality control procedures in the construction industry
- Must be able to provide own tools Requirements
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- US citizenship or green card
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
