Lead Remodel Carpenter $25-$35/hr (DOE) Based in Olympia | Serving Thurston County & Surrounding Areas About Mountain Peak Construction Mountain Peak Construction is a locally owned remodeling company specializing in high-quality kitchen and bathroom remodels, detailed finish carpentry, and precise installations. If you care about quality, accountability, and getting it right the first time, you'll fit in well here. Position Overview We're looking to hire a lead-level remodel carpenter. This is not an entry-level or helper role. In this position, you'll be responsible for managing kitchen and bathroom installations from start to finish. The role requires independence, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work professionally in occupied homes. You'll also be expected to follow all company safety procedures and maintain jobsite safety standards at all times. Key Responsibilities Install kitchen and bathroom cabinetry with a high level of precision Ensure all work is level, plumb, square, and securely installed Install fillers, scribes, toe kicks, crown molding, and finish trim Follow project layouts, elevations, and specifications accurately Keep jobsites clean, organized, and safe Follow all company safety requirements and procedures Communicate clearly with homeowners and team members Manage daily workflow and troubleshoot issues in the field Represent the company professionally on every project Training available for crown molding if needed Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in kitchen, bath, or finish carpentry preferred Must have your own tools Must have reliable transportation Ability to work independently and take ownership of your work Must follow safety procedures and maintain a safe jobsite Background check required Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented Helpful but Not Required Experience with flooring Tile backsplash installation Door installation Trim carpentry Drywall repair or patch work What We Offer Competitive pay: $25-$35/hr DOE Opportunities for performance-based pay increases Paid major holidays for full-time employees Consistent, well-organized projects with clear scopes Supportive leadership and opportunities to grow your skills Professional and respectful team environment Steady kitchen and bathroom remodeling work Strong local reputation and consistent project flow This Role Is a Great Fit If You Show up prepared and communicate well Take pride in detailed, clean workmanship Work safely and follow proper procedures Enjoy working independently Take initiative and solve problems This Role Is Not a Fit If You Rush through work or cut corners Ignore safety practices Avoid communication or accountability Produce inconsistent or low-quality work Growth Opportunities (6-18 Months) Expand your remodeling skills across a range of projects Increase your earnings based on performance and consistency Grow into a key long-term role within a developing company At Mountain Peak Construction, you're not just installing cabinets—you're building a long-term career with a company that values quality, professionalism, and craftsmanship.
