Green Bay / Appleton, WI area Commercial Carpenter Job Description Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Commercial Carpenters to perform stick carpentry work on commercial new-build projects throughout the Green Bay and Appleton areas. Carpenters will work primarily outdoors and may be assigned to different commercial construction projects throughout the area. Candidates should have solid commercial carpentry experience and be comfortable working on active construction sites. Daily Job Duties Perform commercial carpentry work on new construction projects Perform stick carpentry and general framing-related tasks Read and work from construction plans and specifications Safely use hand and power tools Work outdoors in varying conditions Follow all site safety requirements and procedures Maintain a clean and safe work area Travel between local project sites as assigned Travel Requirements One position will require travel to Milwaukee for the first two weeks of the project , after which the carpenter will transition to projects in the Green Bay/Appleton area. The second position will be local to the Green Bay area from the start , with no travel currently planned. Qualifications Previous commercial carpentry experience required Experience working on commercial new-build projects Ability to safely operate standard carpentry hand and power tools Ability to work outdoors and on active construction sites Must be dependable and able to work a full-time schedule Ability to travel between job sites as needed Ability to work at heights and use required fall-protection equipment Tools & PPE Candidates must provide basic carpentry tools and required PPE, including: Standard carpentry hand tools Appropriate work boots Hard hat Safety glasses Gloves Harness/fall-protection equipment Additional Requirements Must be eligible to work in the United States Reliable transportation required No drug screen required No background check required No specific state license or certification required
