Job Overview Join our dynamic team as an Entry-Level Carpenter and kickstart your career in the construction industry! This role offers hands-on experience in residential carpentry, remodeling, and restoration projects. You'll work alongside skilled professionals to develop your skills, learn industry best practices, and contribute to building high-quality structures. Responsibilities Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, trim carpentry, and fixture installation with a focus on safety and precision. Perform residential carpentry tasks such as door hanging, drywall installation, stucco application, caulking, and tile laying. Operate woodworking machines safely for cutting, shaping, and finishing wood materials used in various projects. Participate in restoration industry projects including water damage restoration, mold remediation, plastering, rebar installation, and water damage repairs. Assist with heavy lifting and material handling using appropriate safety protocols on construction sites. Support the installation of fixtures, doors, moldings, and other wood construction materials according to specifications. Follow power tool safety guidelines while using drills, saws, sanders, and other equipment for efficient work. Contribute to remodeling projects by assembling components and performing handyman tasks as needed. Requirements Basic understanding of construction ; willingness to learn is essential. Experience with hand tools and power tools for woodworking or carpentry is highly desirable. Construction site experience or residential carpentry background is a plus; training will be provided for those new to the industry. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces safely. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to safety standards such as power tool safety protocols. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills on the job. Prior handyman experience or familiarity with remodeling processes will be advantageous but not mandatory; training will be available for motivated candidates interested in expanding their skill set. $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
